How to use bottle caps as embellishments

You can use things that you find around your house for scrap booking for example the bottle caps as embellishments for your projects. Of course you can buy specially made bottle caps but its not necessary. This is free. You can use the big shot to flatten the bottle caps, put a picture on it, add some glue (I recommend the Glossy Accents as stated in my previous post) and its done. Check out this video to see how you can recycle this items to decorate your projects or even make beautiful jewellery.

How to use the Martha Stewarts Craft Station

Check out this new tool by Martha Stewart. Its a all in one 12x12" Craft Station table and works as a LED light box. It has a LED glass screen (no bulbs or lights to replace) and you can dry emboss, trace and cut your projects directly onto the tampered glass cutting mat (no scratches whatsoever). It is also a paper trimmer and the kit comes with the craft knife, blades, 5 templates, 3 tracing templates and a metal template and accessories and priced at $159.00. Its worth it!

A very quick and simple die which you can use with the bigshot (look at my previous post) to make pop-up cards. Its not out in the market till March 2012.

I found another video showing the various types of pop up cards you can create with the new die.

In the meantime you can make your very own simple and easy pop up card.
