Happy Birthday Scrapbook Card

Today is my daughter's birthday and ofcourse scrapper mummy did a quick scrapbook card before I see her with her presents. Its abit offsight but it did turn out well. The words "Happy Birthday" is from her previous year birthday cake. I kept it for future use and got the right opportunity to use it today. Happy Birthday Binny!

I made this personalised card for my daughter's sister-in-law, Its made with cardstock, glittered paper, silver stickers, glittered alphabets and glittered angel (recycled from another card ;p ). I love glitters. For me glitter is like "hey lets party and lets celebrate". Simple and cute! Hope she likes it :) .

 

Men in your Life Scrapbook

I was looking for a real masculine paper for the men in your life layout and came across a new collection (July 2012) from Prima called the Craftsman (http://prima.typepad.com/prima/2012/07/craftsman-collection/comments/page/2/).  The papers has got warm colors and blueprint theme, gears and bulbs and you can literally use their junkyard bulbs, gears, zipper and hanging lamps (in my previous post) as embellishments instead of using flowers and blings. The choice is yours.

October Afternoon Midway collection

There is a very cheery, bright, fun, happy and exciting new collection from October Afternoon  "Midway" (pre-order) which is quite unique as it has got a huge ferris wheel cardstock (I am thinking of fussy cutting it for a layout), a photo booth of actors, ticket booth cardstock and loads more.









I saw this card made by Lexi ( http://octoberafternoon.typepad.com/) using the paper line and find the cotton candy very eye catching. This card given personally (not by mail) to your kids will get them so excited. I will get excited too. Yummy!




The cotton candy is made from polyfill/polyester fibre and sprayed with hopscoth sprinklers or glimmer mist it, whatever suits you.
